The basics
What is Playbook Terminal?
Playbook Terminal is an AI-powered market analysis platform that builds a complete, institutional-style market playbook for any of 28 instruments — across forex, gold, indices, oil and crypto. Instead of opening a dozen tabs before a session, you pick your market and it assembles live prices, market-moving news, the economic calendar, positioning, key levels, risk and a clear directional verdict into one structured brief made of 16 analysis modules.
What does it actually do for me?
It does your pre-session research for you — faster and more thoroughly. It reads the live market, scans trusted news, pulls the week's economic events, checks positioning and volatility, weighs central-bank policy, and synthesises it all into a single read with a transparent confidence score. You walk into the session informed and organised, in minutes rather than hours.
How is this different from a charting platform or a news site?
A charting platform shows you price; a news site shows you headlines. Playbook Terminal pulls everything together — price, news, calendar, fundamentals, positioning, levels, risk and a reasoned conclusion — and structures it into one brief per market. It's the preparation layer that sits on top of all those sources, not a replacement for your broker or your charts.
Does it tell me what to buy or sell?
No. Playbook Terminal is an analysis and education tool, not a signals service and not financial advice. It gives you a structured directional read with the reasoning behind it, so you can make your own informed decisions. It will never place trades or tell you to buy or sell.
How quickly is a playbook generated?
Typically a couple of minutes. The terminal pulls live data and builds all 16 modules in one pass, then presents them with the most time-critical modules already expanded so you see what matters first.
Markets & features
Which markets and instruments are covered?
28 instruments across six asset classes: forex majors (EUR/USD, GBP/USD, USD/JPY, USD/CHF, USD/CAD, AUD/USD, NZD/USD), forex crosses (EUR/GBP, EUR/JPY, GBP/JPY, AUD/JPY, NZD/JPY, EUR/AUD, GBP/AUD), metals (gold & silver), commodities (WTI & Brent oil), indices (US30, US100, US500, UK100, GER40, JP225) and crypto (BTC, ETH, LTC, XRP). Every market gets the same full 16-module treatment.
What are the 16 modules?
Live Prices · Today's Headlines · Fundamentals & Macro · Session Bias · Key Levels · Sentiment & COT · Risk Warnings · Total Verdict · Economic Calendar · Week Ahead · Rates & Fixed Income · Central Bank Tracker · Volatility Intelligence · Multi-Timeframe Bias · Intermarket Correlation · Seasonality. Each answers a specific question you'd ask before risking capital.
Can I analyse more than one market at once?
Yes — you can combine up to five instruments in a single playbook to compare related markets side by side.
Is the data live?
Yes. Live prices and an interactive chart sit inside the playbook, with a streaming ticker of your headline markets. The economic calendar is drawn from a structured data feed so released figures populate with actual, forecast and previous values. Each playbook reflects the market at the time you generate it.
How current is each playbook?
A playbook is a snapshot built at generation time — the prices, news and calendar reflect that moment. The live price cells, ticker and charts continue updating in real time, and you simply generate a fresh playbook whenever you want the latest analytical picture.
What times are shown — my timezone or GMT?
Your local timezone, automatically. The app detects your timezone and converts event times for you, so there are no mental conversions and no missed releases.
Are there any tools beyond the playbook?
Yes — a built-in Tools menu includes a live Session Clock (Asia, London and New York in your local time, showing active sessions and overlaps), with trade and account calculators in development. There's also a built-in glossary of trading terms in plain English.
Pricing & plans
How much does it cost?
There are three tiers: Basic — free (£0), Plus — £39/month, and Pro — £59/month. Plus and Pro are billed monthly and you can cancel anytime. New users also get a one-time 48-hour full Pro trial, no credit card required.
What's included in the free Basic plan?
Basic gives you Live Prices & charts, Today's Headlines, Risk Warnings, the Economic Calendar and the asset selector / app — enough to get a feel for the platform and check live prices and key events before you commit.
What do I get with Plus?
Everything in Basic, plus Session Bias, Key Levels, Fundamentals & Macro, Sentiment & COT, Multi-Timeframe Bias, the Total Verdict and Week Ahead commentary — the tools an active day trader uses to identify high-probability setups and know when to stay out.
What do I get with Pro?
Everything — all 16 modules. On top of Plus, Pro adds Rates & Fixed Income (bond yields), the Central Bank Tracker, Volatility Intelligence, Intermarket Correlation, asset-specific data and Seasonality. It's the complete institutional playbook with nothing held back.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — a one-time 48-hour full Pro access trial so you can experience every module before deciding. No credit card required to try it.
Can I cancel or change plan anytime?
Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel whenever you like. Plus and Pro are billed monthly with no long-term commitment.
Access & usage
Can I use it in my country?
Playbook Terminal is an analysis and education tool accessible from anywhere you have an internet connection, on web and mobile. Because it provides analysis rather than financial advice or trade execution, it isn't tied to a single jurisdiction. That said, financial regulations vary by country — you're responsible for ensuring your own trading activity complies with the laws where you live. If you're unsure, check your local rules.
What devices does it work on?
Web, iOS and Android — the same experience across all three. Generate a playbook at your desk or on your phone before the open.
Can I view my playbook 24/7?
Yes. You can generate and view playbooks any hour of any day, from anywhere you have a signal. The platform never closes and never has time off — including weekends, when you can prepare for the week ahead.
Can I store or save a playbook?
Generated playbooks are accessible within the app, and recently generated ones can be re-opened rather than rebuilt. For your own records you can always keep a copy by saving or screenshotting the playbook on your device. (We're continuing to expand history and saving features over time.)
Do I need any trading experience to use it?
No. The platform is built to be useful to both experienced and developing traders — the analysis is structured and colour-coded for quick reading, and a built-in glossary explains the terminology in plain English. It's also a great way to learn how professionals frame a market.
Who is it for?
Anyone who takes their trading process seriously: the time-poor trader who wants a full brief in minutes; the funded / prop-firm trader who needs a repeatable daily and weekly framework to manage risk; the multi-market trader moving between FX, indices, commodities, gold and crypto; and the developing trader who wants to learn how the pros prepare.
How does it help prop-firm and funded traders?
It gives you a repeatable structure for daily and weekly planning — session bias, key levels, the risks to watch and the high-impact events flagged in advance — so you can size positions and choose trading days around the catalysts that matter. For challenge and funded-account traders, where discipline and risk management decide success, having that framework in front of you every day is the point.
Trust & the small print
Is Playbook Terminal financial advice?
Important No. Playbook Terminal provides analysis and education only. It is not financial advice, not a recommendation to buy or sell, and not a signals service. It is not a regulated financial advisor. Always do your own research, and trade only with capital you can afford to lose. Trading leveraged products carries a high risk of loss.
Where does the data and analysis come from?
The platform draws on live market data feeds for prices and a structured calendar feed for economic events, and scans trusted, independent financial news sources matched to each asset class. The analysis is generated to be transparent — for example, the verdict shows the four factors behind its confidence score, and source links let you verify the underlying information yourself.
Can the analysis be wrong?
Yes — like any analysis, it's a structured interpretation of available information, not a prediction or a guarantee. Markets are uncertain and no tool can remove that. Playbook Terminal is designed to help you prepare and think clearly, not to promise outcomes. The final decision, and the risk, is always yours.
